The experience in German-speaking Switzerland was enjoyable. For the 21st edition of the Zurich Contemporary Art Fair, Galerie Gijsel chose to represent only two artists but to exhibit a broader range of their works.
Grégoire Murith (Switzerland), a typographic graphic designer and geometric minimalist painter, contrasted with Alexandru Trifu (Romania/Switzerland), a deconstructed, almost naive painter and engraver. Two distinct styles that harmonize amidst other exhibitors, mostly international, ensuring lasting discovery and fascination.
The Annual Art Fair offers an exhibition space in the heart of Zurich, interdisciplinary and an interactive meeting place for gallery owners, collectors, artists, and an interested public. The disciplines exhibited include painting, graphic design, sculpture, and photography.
