We are delighted to welcome the talented artist Vanessa De Angelis to our space for a POP-UP exhibition from November 4 to 10, 2024.

Vanessa De Angelis, born in Lausanne, has a deep connection with the mountains, which she has been painting since childhood. Raised partly in a chalet in Les Diablerets, she spent her weekends immersed in nature — a profound influence on her artistic identity.

After training as a schoolteacher, she lived in New York for four years, where she became involved with charitable organizations such as the Franciscans of the Bronx. Back in Switzerland since 2010, she found balance by returning to the mountains and dedicating herself to painting.

Her works, initially figurative, have evolved towards abstraction, incorporating a variety of materials including acrylic, soot, plaster, and even gold dust. Her first exhibition in 2016 was a success, marking the beginning of her full-time artistic career. Her creations appeal to a wide audience — from private collectors to healthcare professionals — and reflect a spiritual dimension that permeates her work.

This event is a great opportunity to discover her original pieces and engage directly with the artist.
